Digitize videotapes
Videotapes made their appearance in the 1980s. These videotapes are often still present in large numbers in households. This kind of footage is a subject to aging. We can convert it for you to prevent further quality reduction. Our equipment consists of professional recorders and hardware image enhancers. This allows us to convert your video images to the digital format of your choice.
We can convert all consumer videotapes, such as VHS, Super VHS and VHS-C, Video 2000 (VCC), BetaMAX, Video8 and Hi8, miniDV, DV and HDV for you. We can also convert the Broadcast formats, such as U-Matic and BetaCAM.
Digitize cinefilm
Cinefilm was very popular before the Videotape made its appearance in the 1980s. Up to that period a lot of cinefilm was recorded on reels of about 3 minutes. These reels are often composed into a larger cinefilm. Storage cinefilm for longer period can damage and stain cinefilm. Many of these problems can be fixed during scanning.
The cinefilm comes in various types of Normal or Double 8mm, and Super 8 or Single 8 are the most common. The last 2 can also be equipped with 1 or 2 audio tracks. We can convert the cinefilm to a digital format with or without audio for you. The more professional formats 16mm and Pathe 9.5mm can also be converted by us.
